Can I leave my FORM charger plugged in over the winter?

Our RED lead acid chargers are designed with a 7-Stage Smart Charge Technology. We realize some customers do not utilize their golf carts over the winter months. The RED FORM chargers will periodically check to ensure the batteries are topped off. This will allow you to keep your battery charger plugged in over the winter season as long as you check your water levels every 30 days.

Our BLACK lithium chargers are designed with maintenance mode built into the charger to maintain your lithium batteries. Lithium will keep charged for long periods with minimal reduction in charge. Therefore, most battery manufacturers don’t recommend leaving the charger on your lithium batteries.  Please refer to the battery manufacturer's instructions for more information.
