Will the FORM charger work with AGM Batteries?

Our FORM Charge smart golf cart RED chargers are designed to charge flooded lead-acid batteries, and BLACK chargers are designed to charge lithium batteries.

Neither charger can charge AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries. This is because AGM batteries have different charging requirements. Our chargers are not designed for AGM batteries and could shorten the life of your AGM battery. If you charge an AGM battery with the wrong type of charger, you will end up under or overcharging your battery. Undercharging can cause sulfation on the battery's plates, reducing its ability to accept a full charge. Overcharging can cook the components inside the battery, shortening its lifespan or killing it entirely.
