FAQ'S
For Lead Acid Batteries:
We do not recommend leaving your FORM charge charger plugged in for more than 30 days without checking on it. While FORM Charge has built-in safeguards, extended charging can lead to issues like battery drying or cell failure, which may damage the battery.
To protect your batteries during long-term storage, it's best to fill lead-acid batteries with distilled water, switch the cart to tow mode, and disconnect the main positive and negative cables from the battery pack. These steps help minimize battery drain and prevent potential damage.
For Lithium Batteries:
Yes. It is safe to leave the FORM Charge charger connected to Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries for extended periods of time. The charger automatically stops charging once the battery is fully charged. It will run top-off charges to keep the batteries full.
No, the FORM Charge charger is designed specifically for lead-acid or lithium batteries and is not compatible with AGM batteries. Using the charger with AGM batteries may result in improper charging and potential damage.
