FAQ's

We do not recommend leaving your FORM charge charger plugged in for more than 30 days without checking on it. While FORM Charge has built-in safeguards, extended charging can lead to issues like battery drying or cell failure, which may damage the battery.

To protect your batteries during long-term storage, it's best to fill lead-acid batteries with distilled water, switch the cart to tow mode, and disconnect the main positive and negative cables from the battery pack. These steps help minimize battery drain and prevent potential damage.

Yes, It is not necessary to unplug the smart charger after each use, and it can be left plugged into the wall. However, it is important to note that the LED on the charger will continue to draw a small amount of power while it is plugged in.

No, the FORM Charge charger is designed specifically for lead-acid batteries and is not compatible with AGM batteries. Using the charger with AGM batteries may result in improper charging and potential damage.

To maintain your golf cart batteries, check the water levels monthly and ensure the water covers the lead plates. Always use distilled water and fill carefully to just below the fill well to avoid overfilling. It’s best to charge the batteries before adding water, as charging can cause the water to expand. Avoid using tap water, as minerals can damage the batteries.

Bubbling sounds during charging are normal and occur as hydrogen gas is released, which helps maintain battery health.

If water is spilling out, the batteries were likely overfilled or filled before charging. Use a turkey baster to remove excess water until the level is just above the plates. If spills continue, unplug the charger and check the water levels.
